.Net core virus?

Hi,

I just made a release version of my MadLibsFramework and sent it to my sister for her to test it, but when she tries to download it from the mail I sent, her anti-virus is telling her that it found a virus and then it cancel the download.

Now I'm wondering why the heck she gets that warning when I create the release version like 10seconds before I sent it to her?

Any suggestions to why this happens?

It's difficult to fully weigh in on this topic without knowing more specific details (anti-virus program, what specific file/s are being detected, &c.); however, it's not too uncommon for virus protection to generate false positives on compiled .exes.

This discussion here is a good example of it happening.

Mostly likely the email is detecting that it is an exe that is unusual to be sent through email. She will be fine to download it.
