2,605 PointsNegative operator for boolean conditions?
Hi,
I reach a PHP question about asking two conditions with negative operators.
I tried to create it using !=
, <>
and !==
but still not solve this question. Is any mistake here?
Thank you,
<?php
$username = 'sketchings';
//Available roles: author, editor, admin
$role = 'editor';
//add conditional statement
if ( !$username && $role !== "admin") {
echo "You do not have access to this page. Please contact your administratior.";
}

8,236 PointsHi Use the isset function to check whether a username is set or not and != to check whether role is equal to admin or not.
