need some help

I think I am missing something here....

even.py 
import random
start = 5

def even_odd(num):
    # If % 2 is 0, the number is even.
    # Since 0 is falsey, we have to invert it with not.
    return not num % 2

while start != True:
    random_num = random.randint(1, 99)
    if even_odd(random_num) == True:
        print("{} is even").format(random_num)
    else:
        print("{} is odd").format(random_num)
    start=start -1

You have two mistakes.

  1. Your use of format, you have it outside the print parenthese. 
print("{} is even".format(random_num))
  1. Your while condition. Start will be true until it equals 0, Below is the same as while == true 
while start:
