Your code is not really wrong, but while the instructions are not super explicit about this the task wants your function to break the moment the STOP item is encountered. You are not supposed to print out the STOP item.

So all you need to do is place your if statement above your print statement like this:

def loopy(items):
    # Code goes here
    for x in items :
        if x == "STOP" :
            break
        print (x)

And your code will pass.
