import random def random_item(iterable): iterable = "Treehouse".list a = len(iterable)-1 secret_number = random.randint(0, a) return iterable[secret_number]
# EXAMPLE
# random_item("Treehouse")
# The randomly selected number is 4.
# The return value would be "h"
import random
def random_item(iterable):
iterable = "Treehouse".list
a = len(iterable)-1
secret_number = random.randint(0, a)
return iterable[secret_number]

231,248 PointsYou have a strange line in your function that doesn't belong:
iterable = "Treehouse".list
Just remove that and you're good.
