I'm in the override section in Java learning (Challenge Task 1 of 2) and cannot proceed to the next question. I've cheched other questions but could not pass this quiz.
class GoKart {
public static final int MAX_BARS = 8;
private String color;
private int barCount;
private int lapsDriven;
public GoKart(String color) {
this.color = color;
}
public String getColor() {
return color;
}
public void charge() {
barCount = MAX_BARS;
}
public boolean isBatteryEmpty() {
return barCount == 0;
}
public boolean isFullyCharged() {
return MAX_BARS == barCount;
}
public void drive (){
lapsDriven ++;
barCount--;
}
public void drive(int lapsDriven) {
this.lapsDriven = lapsDriven;
barCount =- lapsDriven;
}

Front End Web Development Techdegree Graduate 33,271 Pointsit says modify the drive method. you don't need to add a field to the class, just a parameter to the method, then add/subtract the parameter value as necessary in the method body. also your -= is backwards.

28,694 Pointsyep, the first task is to modify the existing method. Also unless you copied incorrectly, you may have misplaced the class's closing } at the end.
