Courses Plus Student 6,344 Pointsthis is the message "Your setter method is returning the wrong value for the major property"

9,618 PointsI don't know what problem you are on but I think your code should look something like this:
class Student {
constructor(gpa, credits) {
this.gpa = gpa;
this.credits = credits;
}
get stringGPA() {
return this.gpa.toString();
}
get level() {
if (this.credits > 90 ) {
return 'Senior';
} else if (this.credits > 60) {
return 'Junior';
} else if (this.credits > 30) {
return 'Sophomore';
} else {
return 'Freshman';
}
}
set major(major){
this._major = major;
}
}
var student = new Student(3.9, 60);

Treehouse Guest TeacherHello, Naeem
The first part of the challenge is asking that you simply create an empty setter like this.
set major(major) {
}
The second part of the challenge is asking you to conditionally set the backing major property based on the level of the student, which you can access via the "level" getter in the class.
I hope this helps.

9,618 PointsAre you sure its this._major and not this.major you are trying to set?
