Looking for a programmer to develop an MVP for my startup company. Would consider making the right person a co-founder of the company specifically a CTO. Let me know if interested and we will discuss further.

4,705 PointsFirstly, you should provide some contact details so anyone interested can get in touch with you: Treehouse doesn't have a private messaging system. Secondly, as an FYI - this is a learning community focused on core basics. You'll find a lot of really great people here, and a few web veterans - but bear in mind your chances of finding a competent cofounder are considerably lower than on a platform or event dedicated to such things (e.g. angel.co, cofounderslab, founder2be, founderdating, and local entrepreneur/dev meetups).
Also, as an entrepreneur, I really would recommend not outsourcing your MVP dev; if you bring someone on to build your MVP, you should expect them to hold a significant role and stake in your company. Otherwise you're not going to the same quality of product because the dev isn't going to be as invested in the success of your company. Startups have too many possible (and likely) reasons for failing - no need to add the complexity of a dev or firm that's just there for the paycheck.
Or, go even further - you're already here on Treehouse. Learn what you need to get you to a MVP and build it yourself! Once you've proven it works and people want it (and there are enough people that want it), you can raise any needed funding (if applicable), build out and run a team, and hand off the more advanced codework to experts. In the process, you learn a lot, save some cash, and later are able to better communicate with and appreciate the devs you hire.
