My code seems to be correct but I am getting the error message NameError: name 'add' is not defined.
def add(x,y):
try:
return (float(x)+float(y))
except valueError:
return None
else:
return x + y

Treehouse Moderator 68,441 PointsThe error statement is misleading. The error is a typo in the exception name. The 'V' should be capitalized in ValueError
