I just checked the Treehouse status page and it shows there was an ongoing maintenance earlier today. Although the maintenance was completed successfully and everything should be working fine as expected, there's a probability that this could be the reason your workspace isn't loading.
I just checked my workspaces and there seems to be a lag while loading individual workspaces. But after a couple refreshes the load properly.
I'd suggest that you trying refreshing the pages but if the problem persits you should go ahead and contact Treehouse support for further assistance.
Anyway hope everything works fine soonest for you so that you can get back to your normal learning.
Cheers and happy learning.

2,544 PointsNot sure why your stuff has disappeared but I would recommend using your own text editor and files to complete the CSS/HTML courses. Save the files on Thumbdrive if you like, should you move computers alot.
Having them for later on when you need help with something is going to happen. Just a suggestion of course.

Front End Web Development Techdegree Student 2,657 PointsHi Ray, thanks for the advice, much appreciated. I have seen a few similar questions since i posted this, so, fingers crossed, this is a bug issue - will definitely take your advice moving forward.
Thanks again.
Thank you Joseph - I will check again later, hopefully it will be OK by then, if not I will take your advice down the stated routes. Thanks.

Python Web Development Techdegree Student 6,851 PointsHi,
So sorry for the trouble. We had fixed this issue last night after noticing problems following the maintenance, but it looks like our configuration management tools re-introduced the problem by re-upgrading the affected software.
We've reverted the change and you should be able to access your workspace content again. Please accept our apologies for any confusion.

9,969 PointsThank you. Might I suggest that you notify people when there are technical issues your end? I lost a lot of time today trying to figure out what the problem was. If I had known that the site was undergoing maintenace I would have done something else instead.

Python Web Development Techdegree Student 6,851 PointsHi neil carr ,
Suggestion well taken.
FWIW, we immediately put workspaces into maintenance mode as soon as we realized there was an issue. Unfortunately, since the second occurrence happened after-hours, we didn't notice until this morning, so there was definitely a gap in time between when the issue recurred and when we became aware of it. Improving our monitoring to be able to detect this kind of problem sooner is definitely going to be something we'll be looking into.
