I didn't add the slash in the header closing tag </header>

11,679 PointsMy best guess without seeing the markup would be that either your header or your nav element isn't closed or contains something that is full height since both of those have green backgrounds.

4,588 PointsYeah what Geoff said, the header and nav in your HTML may not be closed properly, so everything else is nested inside them.
