Design

My Website :)

Just got the basics up and running. Going to have useful blogs for Web design, development and useful tools. Need to get some portfolio items sorted but if you guys could give me some feedback that would be excellent.

Contact page is nice. About me page needs some editing of the text and proof reading! Can do that and send you an edited copy if you like.

General design and colours is cool. What resolution screen are you developing on out of interest?

I agree with Matthew the "Contact page" is the best. Also did you put anything in the portfolio page?

Very nice responsive design!

One thing I would change is when I open the "Contact Page" the Info Window is half off the top of the map. Maybe update this so that when it opens the info window is centered on the map.

like so:

centered

I know what you mean. Any idea of how to achieve this?

Sorry for the late response... but I see you have already taken care of this. Looks good!

I work on 1920x1080 I think it is and the portfolio page is misbehaving at the moment. It's a Wordpress site and I get what you mean about the contact page.

Also please do that proof of my about me :) grammar isn't my forte

Looks a really good design, when going to your site for some reason the first word that jumped out at me was sloth ^.^

Imma make it bold just for you :D

Just looked and you have as well, Brilliant! Turned my day right around.

Told You :p

Sorry it took me so long to get this done for you adam davies, I've been deep in coding today and kinda kept forgetting. Done now though!

Absolute arse not having a scroll bar...come on Treehouse! Before you guys do anything else with anything else, I want to see scroll bars. That would be the most awesome thing ever!

" Hi there!

I am Adam Davies, a freelance web designer & developer. Iā€™m new to the web scene, so play nice . The skills I have developed are HTML5, CSS3 & jQuery. In the coming months, I hope to get a grip on JavaScript, Ruby On Rails and PHP

Having grown up in the rain filled town of Wigan, I enjoy staying dry indoors, video games & diet Coke. When not lazing around like a sloth, I like to practice web development & improving my Adobe Photoshop skills to complement my coding skills.

To look at my work so far, blow the dust off this page.

To inquire about how I can help your business check out this shiny page.

And, to read my endless ranting about life check out my Blog. "

You good with changing the end of the excerpt to link to display the whole doc and say something like read full article?

It's a small change but one that I think makes a huge difference.

If you ever want anything proof reading and editing, send it over to me at matthew@ultimatewebdevs.co.uk

I'd be more then happy to give it a once over. It only takes a minute or two!

well that about me is just going to stand there. nothing is going to be going below it

I meant on the blog page. Rather then have users have to click the title which isn't always obvious in my opinion, it can be change so the [...] reads something like "Read Full Article..." and is the active link to go to the full article or make the rest of the article slide down and move everything down the page.

Ill have a look at doing that
