12,258 PointsI am not completely sure if this is what you are asking, but if you built a site in workspaces and the transferred it over to a live server for hosting, then by default it probably will not automatically update as the two would not be connected. There might be a way to connect them, but I would imagine that the easier way to manage it if they are minor changes is just to fix the bugs and then copy the updated page back over to your live site. If your site is going to require extensive further development or regular updates, you might want to consider looking into something like Git to manage your version control.
