My first webpage

HI guys, I feel so proud of my first webpage that I made today (project for my friend photographer) that I need to share it with you. It's been 2,5 months since I started learning web development and I believe I couldn't ever make it that far without treehouse.

It's still work in progress, but I'm especially proud of the js(using jquery) selecting random head picture on each page refresh, which is the first script I've ever written on my own (without tutorials, from idea to implementation). I quite like the aesthetics of the page and its responsiveness. Tell me guys what you think. Appreciate your critique.

Hi Peter,

Glad you are enjoying your time with the site, Im quiet new here myself but have a little bit of previous experience.

Firstly, for 2.5 months of learning, I must say that the site looks very impressive! Just a couple of suggestions I would make to improve it (although as this site is still in progress I imagine you will be working these suggestions in at some point).

The first issue I saw, was that the header image you are using isn't responsive, so on smaller view ports it gets cut in half. Secondly, I would add a mailto link or similar to your email address at the bottom of the page, and maybe a call link on your telephone number (although only when viewed on a mobile phone) to allow the user to call you directly from the site.

The final issue I saw was more aesthetic than a real issue, and that is that I noticed that the very bottom of the site has what looks to be an overflow from the background (the black to blue gradient) and personally I would remove that. My reason would be that, although there is no issue with it being there, the colour draws my eye to it, as it is so dark, and this, for me, detracted form what is overall a very clean looking site.

I hope this feedback helps you, keep up the excellent work!
