My console doesn't let me type after getting an error. How do i fix this without reopening my console. Thanks.

Closing and reopening the console fixes the issue but I was wondering if there was another way.

Sometimes an interrupt signal might restore console function. Type Ctrl-C to generate one.

It's also possible that the console is actually working but the error left the settings in an odd state so you don't see your typing. Try blindly entering the command "stty sane" and see of that restores normal operation.
