My code runs in Xcode but Tree House keeps telling me that I have an error

//Why does Treehouse keep saying I have an error? struct Tag { let name: String }

struct Post { let title: String let author: String let tag: Tag

init(title: String, author: String, name: String){
    self.title = title
    self.author = author
    self.tag = Tag(name: name)
}

func description() ->String{
    return "\(title) by \(author). Filed under \(tag.name)"
}

}

let firstPost = Post(title: "Hello", author: "World", name: "Brice") let postDescription = firstPost.description()

structs.swift
struct Tag {
    let name: String
}

struct Post {
    let title: String
    let author: String
    let tag: Tag

    init(title: String, author: String, name: String){
        self.title = title
        self.author = author
        self.tag = Tag(name: name)
    }
        func description() -> String {
        return "\(title) by \(author). Filed under \(tag.name)"
    }
}

let firstPost = Post(title: "Hello", author: "World", name: "Brice")
let postDescription = firstPost.description()

1 Answer

The 3rd parameter when creating a Post is a Tag object, not a String.

struct Post {
    let title: String
    let author: String
    let tag: Tag

    func description() -> String {
        return "\(title) by \(author). Filed under \(tag.name)"
    }
}

let tag = Tag(name: "swift")
let firstPost = Post(title: "iOS Development", author: "Apple", tag: tag)

let postDescription = firstPost.description()

P.S., as you can see, you don't need the init you wrote. The default member wise initializer will do the same thing.
