my background text did not turn grey in use of class video. It still looks green even though I put in the color #999: body { background-color: #fff; color: #999; }

<a href="http://facebook.com/labicha.maje">
<img src="img/facebook-wrap.png" alt="facebook logo"></a>

27,419 PointsThe light grey he is referring to is the 'copyright' in the footer. The text under each image is meant to be green because they are links, which he has styles to be green. Is this what you are seeing?
sandygomez
2,498 Pointsno, the copyright symbol is also green. It does not change color.
Damien Watson
27,419 PointsOk, can you please post your whole css / html, I will be able to help with that.
If the copyright symbol is clickable, it may be that you haven't closed an anchor tag properly.
sandygomez
2,498 Pointsyes its clickable and it links to my Facebook. I am guessing theres something I messed up!

2,498 PointsI don't know/remember how to close a tag correctly? can you tell me what that involves. is it putting a (>) after <img src="img/twitter-wrap.png">
Damien Watson
27,419 PointsMy code above does it correctly, notice the '>' in the 'alt="">'. All you need to remember is that if you open '<' you need to close with '>'.
examples:
<img src="myImage.png">
<br>
<p>Example</p>
<a href="#">Example link</a>
sandygomez
2,498 Pointsok thank you so much! I fixed it!

27,419 PointsHi Sandy, are you able to post the code? I'm unsure of your question, you use class "video" but put the color on "body"?
