My Anti-virus doesn't allow me to access my domain.

Hi guys. I bought my domain and host service on Web Hosting For Students and uploaded my project using Cyberduck. But when I try to access my site the browser gets blocked by my anti-virus and a message of "infection blocked" pops up every single time. It's very weird, isn't it? I mean, the host service and my project should be secure for the anti-virus, shouldn't it?

My domain: www.rubensneto.com

That's...pretty odd, yes. What anti-virus software are you using? What browser? Any browser extensions or addons?

I'm actually at work right now. Their filters and blocks are excessively aggressive and aren't flagging anything on your site.

Hi rydavim , I'm using Avast and it's happening in both Safari and Chrome browsers.

So are you accessing my site without any trouble?

Thank you very much.

I've tried scanning your website with a couple of tools and haven't found any indication of anything amiss, or found it on any blacklists.

Could you perhaps take a look at the Avast log for threats detected and blocked? That might give us a better indication of why it's giving you a false positive on your site.

If you need to report a false positive, I believe you can do so using their contact form.

I did and it shows a report like

http://www.rubensneto.com/ - URL: Mal http://www.rubensneto.com/favicon.ico - URL: Mal

That was the only report I could find in the software.

Very strange. Yeah, seems like it's just a weird false positive on their part. You don't even have any scripts or anything on there at the moment, so I can't image what they're flagging.

I guess send them the false positive report and override the warning, or use something else in the meantime. Sorry!

It's working fine for me. Just switch your antivirus software.
