6,552 PointsMost widely accepted method for source control in Game Dev?
I love git and github, I also like working with the Unity Editor for game development purposes. The problem is game development entails very large binary files and a lot of temporary files generated by the Unity Editor that a regular Git/Github repository cannot handle. I've seen Git LFS (https://git-lfs.github.com/) and a new attempt at a plugin for Unity by github (https://unity.github.com/) but considering pricing, widespread adoption, ease of use etc. what is the best option for source control in Game Dev?
