I saw previous questions being asked regarding Visual Studio opening instead of Mono Develop and I also read the solution, but when i click on the External Script Editor- There does not exist an option by the name 'Mono Develop'. Only- 1.External File 2.Visual Studio 3.Browse... are the options available.

Courses Plus Student 26,868 PointsStarting from version 4, MonoDevelop was rebranded as Xamarin Studio, (Xamarin was contributor & maintainer of Mono project).
Then Microsoft acquired Xamarin in 2016, XamarinStudio was later rebranded as Visual Studio.
