Java Java Objects Harnessing the Power of Objects Overload Methods

Modify the drive method to define a parameter of how many laps should be driven. Update the method body to handle the n

Not even sure what the hell is wrong with the code. i have tried everything and have been stuck on this challenge for 3 days now.

GoKart.java
class GoKart {
  public static final int MAX_BARS = 8;
  private String color;
  private int barCount;
  private int lapsDriven;

  public GoKart(String color) {
    this.color = color;
  }

  public String getColor() {
    return color;
  }
  public void charge() {
    barCount = MAX_BARS;
  }

  public boolean isBatteryEmpty() {
    return barCount == 0;
  }

  public boolean isFullyCharged() {
    return MAX_BARS == barCount;
  }

 public void drive() {
    lapsDriven+=;
    barCount-=;
  }

You need to pass in laps as a parameter in the drive method, and use that value that was passed in to adjust lapsDriven and barCount

 public void drive(int newParameterGoesHere) {
    lapsDriven+=; // increase this value by the amount passed in
    barCount-=; // decrease this value by the amount passed in
  }

Hey I got it! Thanks!
