This challenge wants you tomato the constant accessible through the Class not just the Object. What this means is we want to be able to call GoKart.MAX_ENERGY_BARS and get the value of the constant. We do this by using the static keyword like this: 

  public static final int MAX_ENERGY_BARS = 8;
