I keep getting "check to make sure you are passing in 1"

      mBarsCount++;

  public boolean isFullyCharged() {
    return mBarsCount == MAX_BARS;
  }

Good that you are trying to re use the existing drive(int laps) method. This method decreases the mBarsCount provided laps . The objective here is to decrease mBarsCount by 1.

 public void drive(int laps) {
    // Other driving code omitted for clarity purposes
    mBarsCount -= laps;
  }

  public void drive() {
   drive(mBarsCount--);
  }

Suppose the value of mBarsCount is 5. Then invokingdrive() will call drive(4) (5-1). Instead just call drive(1) in drive()
