HTML How to Make a Website HTML First Use HTML Elements

Meta tag Charset element

When attempting to place the meta tag charset element in this practice section of the HTML quiz for building a simple website I am putting <meta charset = "utf-8"> in the head section of the code and it is telling me that it is incorrect. I'm not sure what I am doing wrong. AS far as I can tell it is the same as when we practiced it.

Your code should look like this:

<!DOCTYPE html>

<html>
    <head>
        <meta charset="utf-8">
    </head>
    <body>
    </body>
</html>
