Courses Plus Student 8,551 PointsMenu navs don't appear: Uncaught TypeError: $ is not a function
I've enqueued my scripts and ported them over with wp_footer(). I've also added the no-conflict jquery and get the following message: Uncaught TypeError: $ is not a function at HTMLDocument.<anonymous> (app.js?ver=4.8.1:2) at i (jquery.js?ver=1.12.4:2) at Object.fireWith [as resolveWith] (jquery.js?ver=1.12.4:2) at Function.ready (jquery.js?ver=1.12.4:2) at HTMLDocument.K (jquery.js?ver=1.12.4:2)
Here's my function.php code:
<?php
function wpt_theme_styles() {
wp_enqueue_style( 'foundation_css', get_template_directory_uri() . '/css/foundation.css' );
wp_enqueue_style( 'normalize_css', get_template_directory_uri() . '/css/normalize.css' );
wp_enqueue_style( 'googlefont_css', 'http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Asap:400,700,400italic,700italic' );
wp_enqueue_style( 'main_css', get_template_directory_uri() . '/style.css' );
}
add_action( 'wp_enqueue_scripts', 'wpt_theme_styles' );
function wpt_theme_js() {
wp_enqueue_script( 'modernizr_js', get_template_directory_uri() . '/js/modernizr.js', '', '', false );
wp_enqueue_script( 'foundation_js', get_template_directory_uri() . '/js/foundation.min.js', array('jquery'), '', true );
wp_enqueue_script( 'main_js', get_template_directory_uri() . '/js/app.js', array('jquery', 'foundation_js'), '', true );
}
add_action( 'wp_enqueue_scripts', 'wpt_theme_js' );
?>
Here's my app.js
jQuery(document).ready(function($) {
$(document).foundation();
$( ".nav-toggle" ).click(function() {
$(this).toggleClass("open");
$("nav").fadeToggle(100);
return false;
});
});
Any ideas as to why the nav link doesn't show when I click on the menu icon? thanks!

18,647 PointsHey there,
your problem lies within this line of your functions.php file:
wp_enqueue_script( 'main_js', get_template_directory_uri() . '/js/app.js', array('jquery', 'foundation_js'), '', true );
You've updated all other foundation_js values to foundation_min_js except this one.
