media querries not working

i' currently trying to learn html/css but a it comes to responsive-design, the media queries don't work. I am not sure if it doesn't work due to my double screens or did i write anything wrong in the other codes?

I have dual screens too and media queries in responsive designs work as expected for me. If you're still having trouble, post the code for us to have a look :-)

Dual screens won't affect responsive design; the media queries look at only the size of your browser window.
