I noticed the file name in the top left corner of the Workspace is still labeled css/main.css & not css/responsive.css.
Doesn't the file name need to be changed to be correct?

10,181 PointsNo it doesn't. A css file is the same no matter what you call it. Adding media queries doesn't change the css file. Giving it the title Responsive in that course just helps to remind you what the purpose of that file is. But in the objective your just adding break points to a normal css file. If that's what your talking about.
