Is national classified newspaper ad posting for your services a respectable way to reach people or is that border-line infomercial? I met someone that did that successfully but It seems like youre pushing quantity over quality.

10,199 PointsI think it depends on the market you are servicing. Many people try to identify absolutes in marketing but the truth is there is no one way that rules them all. For myself I very rarely ever read a newspaper much less the classifieds so if I was your target client you would be out of luck. But even with niches - desires and channels can vary greatly.
My suggestion:
- Start with a goal - it should be measurable and have a timeline
- Run your targeted campaign and measure results.
