14,238 PointsMAMP Wordpress database error (denied by server configuration)?
A few weeks ago I was having problems with Wordpress permalinks, and so I started messing around with my Mac's httpd.conf settings, among other things. BIG MISTAKE.
Either that or my update to OSX Sierra royally screwed up MAMP, and now I can't connect to any of my local sites. Here's what I'm getting in the Apache error log:
File does not exist: /Applications/MAMP/htdocs/docs-assets, referer: http://localhost/MAMP/?language=English
[Fri Nov 25 23:04:38 2016] [error] [client ::1] client denied by server configuration: /Applications/MAMP/htdocs/.DS_Store
I've tried reinstalling MAMP multiple times and resetting various settings on my Mac to no avail.
Does anyone have any tips for solutions I could possibly try? (Banging my head against the wall here.)
Thanks!

14,238 PointsI actually fixed it (the simplest solution is usually the right one).
It must have been something to do with the Mac update, because I downloaded a newer version of MAMP and everything worked fine.
