Hey. I'm doing the php courses and MAMP is the recommended application to use for running Apache, PHP and mySQL. However, whenever I try to access phpMyAdmin I run into this error:
phpMyAdmin - Error The mysqli extension is missing. Please check your PHP configuration. See our documentation for more information.
I've had a look at the documentation, and it's took me to the directory where all the extensions are installed.
C:\MAMP\bin\php\php7.1.5\ext
There are many php_.dll files with different names however none are called mysqli or anywhere close to something being related to mysql. I have had a look on the internet and not found any solution to this, so I'm hoping you guys can help me. thank you :)
