4,786 PointsMake a while loop that runs until start is falsey.
I just cannot understand why this would not work! Can someone please tell me why??
import random
start = 5
def even_odd(num):
# If % 2 is 0, the number is even.
# Since 0 is falsey, we have to invert it with not.
return not num % 2
while start > 0:
randnumb = random.randint(1, 99)
if even_odd(randnumb):
print("{} is even.".format(randnumb))
else:
print("{} is odd.".format(randnumb))
start = start - 1

Treehouse TeacherHi there! Actually, it does work! The problem here is that you aren't printing the exact string they are asking for. Challenges can be very strict about output/returned data. In this case, you've included a period/full stop on the strings. If I copy/paste your code in the challenge and then remove those, your code passes all three steps! Just delete the periods.
Hope this helps!
