MACAW pricing

So I noticed that treehouse has Macaw at discount, which reduces it to $100, but when I go to Macaw website and see their purchasing options, they also offer $100 for beginners. So, what's the point of buying it with treehouse link vs the default website? Who does it benefit if buy from treehouse or from the actual website. I contacted help and they told me to post it on the forums. On the other note, that's not really a discount haha.

I guess they offer the discount for the professional pack instead of the beginner pack

The beginner and pro are the same thing, they are just asking for pros to be more honest and pay the full price.

Hi Jesus Mendoza! Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. We wanted to check in Macaw to clarify the offer. Valery Kukatov is correct. They offer the $99 Learners license to students and other users who are still learning web design with the requirement that they only use Macaw for personal use. The Treehouse discount is on a professional license which grants you full rights to use Macaw for both personal and commercial use. The expectation is therefore that if a user purchases a Learners license and they need to start using Macaw for commercial use then they would reach out to us and upgrade to a professional license. I hope that helps, but please let me know if you have any additional questions!
