I remember I saw it a while back. Is it gone for good? I remember it was taught by Guil Hernandez

Treehouse TeacherHey there,
We retired the course a few months ago because it taught an outdated version of Jekyll. No plans yet on releasing a new course. :)

Do you have any alternative resources to learn the basics of Jekyll that you would recommend? (of course I can Google around, but I feel like you may be the most educated one to ask where to go :) )

24,604 PointsHey Guil,
Is something that can be looked into? I think it would be beneficial for old and new users to learn how to generate and work with static site generators, especially the latest version of Jekyll. I work at a creative agency that has traditionally built custom WordPress sites. Yet recently, we've started to move away from builds that require a server to run. Jekyll has come up a few times in-office recently in regards to small-scale builds. It'd be nice to take a step back from the docs and see a walk-through.

Treehouse TeacherI wish that it did hold value. But the latest version is a full rewrite of the version taught in that course. The Jekyll docs are quite good; they're clear and organized. I learned Jekyll by reading the docs. :)
Hope this helps!
