15,661 PointsLooking for a good design book
I just read Nick Pettit's short e-book on value and color theory and it got me interested in reading a full length book on design. Does anyone have any suggestions?
I want something that is pretty comprehensive but not TOO basic. I'm mostly interested in web design, typography and color theory. Anything that outlines making wireframes, mockups and web design assets would be a huge plus to.
Thanks in advance for the suggestions!

Treehouse TeacherIt's not a design book, but I definitely recommend learning about art history from Janson's History of Art. It's pretty heavy reading, but it teaches you a lot about how art started and traces its path to the present.

15,661 PointsAwesome! Thanks a lot, Nick. I'll give it a read. I'm usually a fan of pretty dense, bordering-masochism reading so heavy reading is definitely my taste.
