Looking at the techdegree, anyone think it's worth it?

I'm looking at signing up for the Techdegree program, but what do you think about it? It seems the only difference is they give you a list of projects to do and complete to add to your portfolio. Is that all?

My only issue with the regular plan is my lack of imagination for coming up with projects to do. I'm better at doing something when I have a client in mind or something than just making something from scratch.

Hi Bryce,

Have you checked out https://www.freecodecamp.com. They walk you through projects and you can collaborate with other people.

Actually, you can also code on your personal machine or in Workspaces if you want to practice on your own :)

if you don't want to purchase the techdegree actually programming on your own, challenging yourself, and trying to accomplish something hard can increase your skills almost as much as the techdegree can :)

Honestly that right there might be the best reason to do the techdegree

That's part of the reason I get frustrated with this most of the time. I have no creativity. You give me something and I'll code it but coming up with things for myself to showcase is a no go lol.
