I plan on taking the illustrator course as soon as I purchase it but would like to learn how to make logos, can I use photoshop? I am taking the design track until I feel like I can stop but the logo design is a skill I want to have.

5,442 PointsThe Logo Design course is pretty much a quick look at the brainstorming process. You can still get the gist of it without buying Illustrator, although I recommend his Illustrator course as well. Immensely helpful.

Rather the logo will crisply resize with your vectors. Illustrator's vectors and pen tools are very diverse, and more precise (e.g. aligning certain points, controlling the radius).
