Live charting with RxJava obsrvable

I have an RxJava Observable<Double> that fires elements at a non-predetermined rate. It can be subscribed to and listened to for updates. What would be the best solution to build a live timeseries chart with respective events on timestamps on X and Double values on Y axis without re-rendering all previously emitted values?
