19,277 PointsHi Dario,
I think it's not working because your <nav> is inside a link element which is the <a> tag.
Have you tried moving your <nav> outside the first <a> element?
Like This:
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head>
<meta charset="utf-8">
<title>Nick Pettit</title>
</head>
<body>
<header>
<a href="index.html">
<h1>Nick Pettit</h1>
<h2>Designer</h2>
</a> <!-- nav should be outside of this link-->
<nav>
<ul>
<li><a href="index.html">Portfolio</a></li>
<li><a href="about.html">About</a></li>
<li><a href="contact.html">Contact</a></li>
</ul>
</nav>
</header>
<section></section>
<footer>
<p>© 2013 Nick Pettit.</p>
</footer>
</body>
</html>
Hope this help! Cheers!
Owa

Courses Plus Student 19,571 PointsHi! I used this challenge as a model for my own web page. Your link structure is out of order. If it helps, here is my structure. If you look closely you will see the order everything needs to be in :)
<header class="main-header"> <a href="index.html" id="logo"> <h1>Tony Domina</h1> <h2>Designer</h2> </a> <nav> <ul> <li><a href="index.html" class="selected">Portfolio</a></li> <li><a href="about.html">About</a></li> <li><a href="contact.html">Contact</a></li> </ul> </nav>
