Trying to start the Treebook project and I'm having trouble getting my rails server running on windows. I've done the whole install process several times and keep getting the same error. If anyone has a solution it would be greatly appreciated.
screenshot of cmd
: http://i57.tinypic.com/5ujy2v.png

11,679 PointsLooks like you may have something already listening on port 3000. You can provide the -p option to specify a different port, which will obviously change all of your URLs to be http://localhost:3333
rails server -p 3333
Let me know if you're still running into the error on a different port.

11,679 PointsAny time! Just be wary that while it could be a normal program you have running listening on port 3000 it may also be that your server is not shutting down properly. If you run in to a similar issue after running on port 3333 for a while you may need to look into this. Of course a reboot will clear out and rails servers that may have locked up but that's not an ideal solution.
