8,261 PointsLack of explanations
I have followed a lot of content on Treehouse and have always enjoyed the courses. I find this course very frustrating, he just pastes code in with any explanations as to why he does these things, like placing a table in a table. The pasting also makes it very hard to follow, especially with lack of explanations.
I don't see how this can be pro membership content, it really lacks the information that's needed to understand why certain practices are being used.

Courses Plus Student 85 PointsYeah this is honestly very hard to follow. It's not clear where the content goes. It is simply pasted in and the narrator moves on. Very hard to follow. Perhaps they should use someone who has more expertise in teaching? There needs to be some visual cues/highlights added to guide the viewer. Very off putting due to the lack of explanation. I will try my best to complete this video but will most likely look elsewhere.
EDIT: Hopefully some of the people's above comments have been addressed. Seems we all have common issues.

11,007 PointsMight I suggest to add a Teacher's Notes with graphics such as the usual Treehouse content. I honestly had to draw out my own tables on paper to see the logic behind the nesting.

8,333 PointsAgreed. I'm frustrated with this course. This sequences of copy and paste is annoying me. It's hard to follow.

11,580 PointsI agree. Not only is it hard to follow, but it feels like a waste of my time. I'm actually very comfortable with HTML and CSS and I came here to learn about the key differences between HTML on the web vs in e-mail. ...and all I got was some copy/pasted code with no explanation or shared reasoning. My time may be better spent just reading the code at the end of the course.
I almost feel like this resource would be better as a simple file download. The video adds so little and is very off-putting.

3,585 PointsYeah I kind of want to give up and just figure out what the docs mean

1,661 PointsAgreed. It goes way too fast and I miss the exercises so you know what you are doing. Email design cannot be explained in just one tiny course. Hope this will become a valid multi step course!

177 PointsYeah I wasn hoping for a lot more from this

8,046 PointsYes maybe it would be a good idea if they were to re do this and clearly explain what is going on. Maybe get Ned to do this...
