33,235 PointsKill command doesn't work
Hi.
I'm 5 minutes 18 seconds into the video. In Tab 1, I used the kill command on a process, kill 2544
. When I ran jobs
, that process was still listed. Nothing is running in Tab 2. Can anyone tell me why the kill command won't work?

15,887 PointsProcesses can ignore some signals. If you send SIGKILL it will not be able to ignore it (and neither catch it to do cleanups). Try: kill -9 {PID}
