Keep getting error message on 2nd part of quiz.

The code I have typed works in preview, but I keep getting the following error message that won't let me progress any further.

Bummer! Make sure you include an image tag that displays "img/numbers-01.jpg".

Here is what my code looks like.

  <ul>
    <li>
      <a href="img/numbers-01.jpg">
        <img src="img/numbers-01.jpg" alt="">
        <p>Experimentation with color and texture.</p>
      </a>
    </li>
    <li>
      <a href="img/numbers-02.jpg">
        <img src="img/numbers-02.jpg" alt="">
        <p>Playing with blending modes in photoshop.</p>
      </a>
    </li>
    <li>
      <a href="img/numbers-06.jpg">
        <img src="img/numbers-06.jpg" alt="">
        <p>Trying to create an 80's style of glows.</p>
      </a>
    </li>

the task states: "Inside the three new list items, add the following images from inside the img folder: "numbers-01.jpg", "numbers-02.jpg", and "numbers-06.jpg". Leave the alt attributes blank, and don’t add any captions or links. Just the images!"

since it asks for just the images, you need to remove the links and the captions

  <ul>
    <li>

        <img src="img/numbers-01.jpg" alt="">

    </li>
    <li>

        <img src="img/numbers-02.jpg" alt="">

    </li>
    <li>

        <img src="img/numbers-06.jpg" alt="">

    </li>

</ul>

Thanks for the help Stone, I should have noticed that the question was asking for just the pictures.
