just confused between rom, ram and hard drive.. hardware software... make me confused

what is rom ram hard drive hardware software? confused....

Software is the program that will run, like when you put a disk into a computer it is the program running

Hardware is the actual computer or unit itself

RAM stands for random access memory and is a form of data storage. It is what allows data items to be accessed. This is usually what is being talked about when it comes to the computers memory. They look like little sticks with black rectangles on them when you go to the store or open the computer up.

ROM is read only memory. It is data that can be read but not over-written.
