13,725 PointsYour variable lastName has not been initialised and you are using the printf wrong:
// I have imported java.io.Console for you. It is a variable called console.
String firstName = console.readLine();
String lastName = console.readLine();
console.printf("First name: %s", firstName);
In printf you pass in a String in this case - "First name: %s" - %s a placeholder which will be substituted with the variable 'firstName' when executed.
