JSON file 5 MB Limit in Visual Studio.

Hey guys, I'm working on the project for this section, I'm working with bird data, but every set I've found so far is more then the 5MB limit for Visual studio. What is the best way to get a smaller portion of the JSON file? Is that the best idea or should I build my own data set from the existing? Any other tips?
