Courses Plus Student 2,833 PointsJPG for images and WAV for audio
Is the JPG format for images and the WAV format for audio necessary for this whole thing to work? Thanks in advance for the answers.

The JPG
format is just one possible image format. Any valid image format would work. Some examples in this course use PNG
format.
Likewise, WAV
is just one possible format for audio. It's not even a very popular one because it takes up a lot of space for a given length of sound. Another (and much more compact) format is MP3
, which is also shown in some examples in this course.
