When I try to run this code:
String firstName = console.readLine ("Hello "); String lastName = console.readLine ("Hi "); printf ("%s %s", firstName, lastName);
I get this error:
JavaTester.java:129: error: cannot find symbol printf ("%s %s", firstName, lastName); ^ symbol: method printf(String,String,String) location: class JavaTester 1 error
// I have imported java.io.Console for you. It is a variable called console.
String firstName = console.readLine ("Hello ");
String lastName = console.readLine ("Hi ");
printf ("%s %s", firstName, lastName);

1,798 PointsI fixed the error by putting console.printf instead of just printf.

The "printf" method needs an object in front of it.
