1,982 PointsJavaScript full Stack or Java? Career perspective
I'm living in south of Germany and there seem to be far more Jobs available for Java Development than for Full Stack JavaScript and Basic html/css.
I'm starting to learn JavaScript and not sure if changing to Java would be wiser.
Any other perspectives here?

22,818 PointsGrüße! It really depends on your individual interests and career goals. What do you want to do with your skills? Java and JavaScript are difficult to compare, since both are used for very different things (though that gap is closing somewhat).

1,982 PointsI don't have the depth of knowledge to know what part of coding I like most. I like web applications but that is definitely not exclusive, so I'm open to what i'm doing yet if I have amazing JavaScript skills that I don't find a job for well you know ...

22,818 PointsSince that's your natural inclination, I would say continue to pursue JavaScript. It's flexible enough for front-end Web development, and you can also use technologies like Node.js to make server-side applications. At the very least, learning one language makes it easier to learn others.
