Hello Treehouse Forums!
I'm currently stuck at Challenge java Objects - Method Signature
I've added
public void drive() { drive(MAX_BARS); }
to the code but i still get error '' Method is wrong, did you called out original Drive method and passing in 1?
Whatever i do ends up in syntax error,
Thank you in advance for suggestions.
public class GoKart {
public static final int MAX_BARS = 8;
private String mColor;
private int mBarsCount;
public GoKart(String color) {
mColor = color;
mBarsCount = 0;
}
public String getColor() {
return mColor;
}
public void drive() {
drive(MAX_BARS);
}
public void drive(int laps) {
// Other driving code omitted for clarity purposes
mBarsCount -= laps;
}
public void charge() {
while (!isFullyCharged()) {
mBarsCount++;
}
}
public boolean isBatteryEmpty() {
return mBarsCount == 0;
}
public boolean isFullyCharged() {
return mBarsCount == MAX_BARS;
}
}

21,500 PointsIn the method drive you have to performs just 1 lap you almost there
public void drive() {
drive(MAX_BARS); // just change the MAX_BARS to 1
}
// like this
public void drive() {
drive(1); // <-------- here
}
