Java Objects Exercise

I am working on this problem: https://teamtreehouse.com/library/java-objects-2/creating-the-mvp/scrabble-tiles and I am getting the following error. Please help!

./ScrabblePlayer.java:21: error: incompatible types: String cannot be converted to char
      tile += tiles;

Here is my code.

public class ScrabblePlayer {
  // A String representing all of the tiles that this player has
  private String tiles;

  public ScrabblePlayer() {
    tiles = "";
  }

  public String getTiles() {
    return tiles;
  }

  public void addTile(char tile) {
    // TODO: Add the tile to tiles
  }

  public boolean hasTile(char tile) {
    // TODO: Determine if user has the tile passed in
    boolean giveTile = tiles.indexOf(tile) != -1;
    if (giveTile) {
      tile += tiles;
    }
    return false;
  }

}

Where is my mistake?

You would have to add code to the addTile method which uses += like this:

example += 5

If you're still stuck, please provide the code you're trying so that we can see where you're running into an issue.

Please see edit of question. Thanks!

Nevermind, I figured it out.
